Most students chose to rent private studios or 1-2 bedroom apartments ... prices vary, starting from 300-400 euros for a studio.
Visa
EU/EEA/SWISS citizens do not require a visa to enter Serbia, but they need to register with Serbian local authorities within 90 days of arrival.
There are also citizens of some countries who do not need entrance visa, based on reciprocity, but in order to obtain permit, also need to register with local authorities. Citizens of other countries, must have student visa as well as resident permit.
Student visa has to be obtained before traveling to Serbia, and is given by the Embassy of Serbia in the country of residence.
In order to obtain student visa for studying in Serbia, you will have to present necessary documentation which proves that you have successfully enrolled into Serbian college. The College will issue a letter as a proof that the applicant has enroll in a course.
- Applicant must show the proof of having funds to support his/ her living in Serbia.
- Applicant must also present the proof that the Tuition fee has been payed.
- Applicant must show proof of medical insurance.
Upon arrival in Serbia within 24 hours, the student has to register with the Serbian police authority, and after that, with Immigration office, presenting his/ her address of stay during the studies in Serbia.
